A Comprehensive Approach to Managing Fatigue Risk

Rotor Safety Challenge (RSC)
Tracks:
Safety
Instructor: Daniel Mollicone, Pulsar Informatics

This session will cover the science of fatigue, operational sources of fatigue risk, and key components of fatigue risk management specific to air medical transport operations. A case study of Air Methods Corp. implementing fatigue risk-management approaches will demonstrate what can be achieved in terms of reductions in fatigue and increases in operational flexibility.
