This course examines the role of an organization’s leadership in the decision-making process for the integration of uncrewed aircraft system (UAS) operations. Topics include recognizing the value of UAS operations from a business perspective, applying UAS technology to enhance an organization’s capabilities, eliciting buy-in from employees, and creating a culture of acceptance.
Learning Objectives: By the conclusion of the course, participants will have learned:

Scott Burgess has more than 30 years of aviation experience in military and civil aviation and is qualified on seven military and civilian helicopters. He began his career at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University (ERAU) in 1999. Scott has a master’s degree in aeronautical science from ERAU and a doctorate from Northcentral University. He is program chair of the Bachelor of Science in Aeronautics in the Worldwide Campus Department of Aeronautics Undergraduate Studies at ERAU.
