This session provides a road map for building a professional relationship with civil aviation authorities. It begins by describing the rules that should always be considered when engaging with regulators, then provides instruction in introducing your company to regulators and maintaining contact with them regularly, not just when there’s a problem.

Instructor Bio

Sarah MacLeod is managing member of Obadal, Filler, MacLeod & Klein and a founder and executive director of the Aeronautical Repair Station Association. She has advocated for individuals and companies regarding international aviation safety law, policy, and compliance issues for 30 years. She obtained her law degree from The Catholic University of America.

Marshall S. Filler is managing member of Obadal, Filler, MacLeod & Klein and the managing director and general counsel of the Aeronautical Repair Station Association. He has advocated for individuals and companies on international aviation safety law, policy, and compliance issues for over 40 years. He obtained his bachelor’s and law degrees from The American University in Washington, D.C.
