This session will provide a roadmap for building a professional relationship with civil aviation authorities. It will begin by describing the rules that should always be considered when engaging with regulators, then provide instruction on how to introduce your company and maintain consistent contact—not just when there’s a problem. The session will conclude by providing strategies for maintaining a professional relationship with regulators.

Instructor Bio

Sarah MacLeod is the managing member of Obadal, Filler, MacLeod & Klein, PLC, and a founder and executive director of the Aeronautical Repair Station Association (ARSA). She has advocated for individuals and companies in international aviation safety law, policy, and compliance issues for 30 years. Sarah obtained a bachelor’s degree from Evergreen State College in Olympia, Washington, and a law degree from the Catholic University of America.
