Crew resource management (CRM) in air medical operations can be challenging when integrating non-aviation personnel. This session will explore approaches to promoting crew resiliency for pilots of any tenure who may be unfamiliar with air medical services. It will also provide some specific examples of some of the scenarios where an air ambulance is needed.

Instructor Bio

Brian Rogge is a flight nurse and paramedic for Life Flight Network and has been in the air medical industry for more than 15 years. He has been Life Flight Network’s director of clinical operations for the past six years and works closely with aviation and maintenance personnel to streamline operations. Brian has seen crew resource management (CRM) develop in the air medical industry and is passionate about expanding it to promote resiliency when the job becomes difficult.
