Instructor Bio

Matthew West is the president of Hawk Aerosafety, an aviation safety, training, and risk management consulting firm. He is an experienced aviation safety professional who has served in senior safety positions for multiple Part 135 organizations, as well as in the fields of air medical operations, air tours, and uncrewed aircraft systems (UASs). In addition, Matthew served his community as a law enforcement helicopter pilot, also working as a commercial helicopter pilot and instructor.
