Rotor Safety Challenge Course (RSC)
Instructor: Max Green, National Transportation Safety Board
Price: This course is free to anyone attending HAI HELI-EXPO
When your company is involved in an accident, aside from cooperating with the accident investigation and maintaining business continuity, do you have a plan to support injured customers, address the needs of family members of those killed, and assist your employees? What support can you provide? What will your insurance cover? This session will highlight critical family assistance operations and concepts. Attendees will gain an understanding of the National Transportation Safety Board’s (NTSB) operating authority and family assistance operations model and how that model provides guidance to responding agencies. Participants will also learn the four primary concerns of family members in the aftermath of a major transportation accident and gain a heightened awareness of US federal family assistance legislation.
