This session is designed to give instructors of all skill levels the tools, tips, and tricks to enhance training quality and safety during flight training. It will include discussions on effective communication techniques, methodical lesson planning, error correction, and identification of common student mistakes.

Instructor Bio

Christopher Horton has been an active flight instructor for more than a decade, serving as a primary instructor, check instructor, assistant chief, and chief flight instructor. He has served as a member of the HAI Safety Committee and is a former member of the US Helicopter Safety Team. Chris primary focuses on flight training and instilling safe habit patterns to new instructors.
