A follow-up to “Flying in the Wire-and-Obstruction Environment, Part 1,” this multimedia course goes into further detail on what utility crews must know in order to work safely in the wire environment.

  • How and why wire- and obstruction-related helicopter accidents happen to experienced flight crews.

Instructor Bio

Robert A. Feerst has been teaching “Flying in the Wire” courses worldwide for more than 30 years. He has served as a pilot and lineman and is currently a full-time corporate trainer, auditor, consultant, and accident investigator. He holds two bachelor’s degrees from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University.
