This training class explores of the capabilities of the Garmin G1000H integrated flight deck. Intended to serve both novice and experienced aviators, this class provides scenario-based training with an emphasis on flight planning, instrument procedures, vertical navigation, and the automatic flight control system.

Instructor Bio

Megan Barrientos is a helicopter certified flight instructor–instrument (CFII) for the Robinson R22/R44 and Airbus Helicopters AS350. Currently working for Garmin as a pilot trainer, she is a former active-duty medic with the US Air National Guard. Megan also served as a propulsion mechanic and is now currently serving in the Kansas Air National Guard. She holds a degree in aeronautics with a minor in management.
