One of the hardest things we have to do as businesspeople is tell our customers we can’t meet their needs on a given day. They have expectations, and we’re the “bad guy” who has to disappoint them.

In this class, we’ll talk about the best ways to deliver bad news (regarding both maintenance and weather delays) and how we can use good communication skills to get to the right decisions.

Instructor Bio

Stan Rose is the president of Helicopter Safety Alliance, a company that provides safety seminars and other services for pilots, maintainers, and managers of small helicopter operations. Stan has been involved in the helicopter industry for 50 years and has served in numerous positions, including director of safety outreach for HAI. He has been a pilot, a program director for air medical operations, and a business development specialist. Stan has also worked on several overseas projects in both maintenance and operations roles.
