Rotor Safety Challenge (RSC)
Pilot, Safety
Instructor: Claude Vuichard, Vuichard Recovery Aviation Safety Foundation

In this session, we’ll discuss the human factors, such as negative transfer, stress, and pilot skills, that cause aviation incidents and accidents. We’ll show how to overcome these factors with operational techniques and procedures designed to significantly reduce the incidence of accidents and incidents and generate a broad awareness of how to identify human-based errors and counteract them. Participants will come to understand how human factors influence the safety of operations and how countermeasures can enhance safety for pilots.
