Rotor Safety Challenge Course (RSC)
Maintenance, Safety
Instructor: Eric Bechhoefer, GPMS
Price: This course is free to anyone attending HAI HELI-EXPO

Imagine “seeing” inside gearboxes and knowing the remaining useful life of components. Well, you can, with health and usage monitoring system (HUMS) technology. In this session, we’ll review the science that underlies HUMS, the benefits of the technology, its core functions, and recent advances and developments in the technology, including predictive capabilities. We’ll also see how HUMS can improve operator metrics and financial performance. Participants will spend the second half of the session on interactive cases, using HUMS to solve simulated maintenance and safety problems.
