This session provides strategies for integrating safety and quality into a single audit. Participants will learn the most common maintenance audit findings, including those pertaining to aircraft line inspection, maintenance, maintenance facilities, warehouses/parts, and fuel quality. The session will also analyze trends in findings for preventive actions and examine the management review process.

Instructor Bio 

Leonard W. LeBlanc has worked in the aviation industry for 42 years. For the past 21 years, he has managed 14 CFR Part 135 quality management systems for clients, responsible for creating, implementing, coordinating, and conducting company, regulatory, Department of Defense (DOD), vendor, industry, and customer audits. Leonard attended the University of Southwestern Louisiana, majoring in industrial technology. He has extensive knowledge of oil-and-gas producers, the DOD, and the Flight Safety Foundation’s basic aviation risk standard (BARS) requirements.
