This course will help operators develop the business case for acquiring and incorporating HUMS (health and usage monitoring system) technology into their fleet. It will first include a short overview of the capabilities and benefits of HUMS as well as flight data monitoring and rotor-blade track-and-balance capabilities. The discussion will progress to how to collect, utilize, and present data to prepare a presentation for leadership.
Instructor Bio
Ronnie Ries is the VP of marketing at GPMS. Ronnie has led the promotion and sales of military, commercial, and aftermarket products for nearly 20 years. Previously, he served as head of commercial marketing and customer experience at Bell. He is a graduate of Texas A&M University–Kingsville and has an MBA from Texas Christian University. He previously served as chair of the Transportation Research Board Civil Helicopter Subcommittee.
