This session will help operators develop the business case for acquiring and incorporating health and usage monitoring system (HUMS) technology into their fleet. It will include a short overview of the capabilities and benefits of HUMS, as well as flight data monitoring and rotor blade track-and-balance capabilities. The discussion will progress to how to collect, utilize, and present data to prepare a presentation for company leadership.

Instructor Bio

Ronnie Ries is the VP of marketing at GPMS. He has led the promotion and sales of military, commercial, and aftermarket products for nearly 20 years. Previously, he served as head of commercial marketing and customer experience at Bell. Ronnie is a graduate of Texas A&M University–Kingsville and has a master’s degree from Texas Christian University. He previously served as chair of the Transportation Research Board (TRB) Civil Helicopter Subcommittee.
