This two-day course is designed to provide participants with the knowledge and skills required to manage and oversee a Part 135 operation effectively. Day 2 will introduce the knowledge needed to manage day-to-day operations and make alterations or additions to the operational capability of a Part 135 organization. We’ll also examine how to manage internal staffing and the relationships required with the FAA.

Learning Objectives: By the conclusion of the course, participants will have learned:

  • The knowledge and skills necessary to effectively manage and oversee a Part 135 operation.

Instructor Bio

Randy Rowles has been an FAA pilot examiner for 25 years for all helicopter certificates and ratings. He holds an FAA Gold Seal Flight Instructor Certificate and a National Association of Flight Instructors Master Flight Instructor designation. He was the 2013 recipient of HAI’s W.A. “Dub” Blessing Flight Instructor of the Year Award. Randy is the owner of Helicopter Institute, a flight school based in Fort Worth, Texas, and the 2021–2022 chair of the HAI Board of Directors.
