This course is designed for rotorcraft flight department personnel who will establish or maintain a record-keeping system that uses accepted industry practices to document and maintain regulatory compliance and initiate appropriate action within the department. Attendees will gain an understanding of regulatory issues and their impact on operations as well as the importance of monitoring change to guarantee continued compliance and updating records on a continuous basis. The principles of dispatch, crew, and technical interrelations to carry out appropriate corrective action will also be discussed.

Instructor Bio
Bettina Mrusek has worked for Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University (ERAU) since 2014, first as a veterans affairs counselor for ERAU Worldwide and, since 2016, as a full-time faculty member. Prior to joining ERAU, Bettina served in the US Marine Corps for 14 years, working as an avionics communication and navigation technician and supervisor for multiple aircraft platforms, including rotary- and fixed-wing. She possesses a wide array of knowledge and experience in avionics, safety, aircraft maintenance and inspection, and general aviation.
