This session will dive into how health and usage monitoring systems (HUMSs) excel at detecting potential aircraft problems before they become a reality. We’ll examine the science behind HUMS and explain why the technology is a must-have for helicopter operators today.

Instructor Bio

Lance Antolick began working at HUMS specialty company RMCI in 2008 as a scientist assigned to the Aeromechanics Division, Aviation Engineering Directorate, US Army. His first project was to determine whether the number of synchronous time averages for data collection on the Apache helicopter could be reduced in order to make the aircraft’s HUMS software more efficient.
